PD: Elderly man kidnapped, assaulted by live-in helper

“At Risk Adults” definition; At-Risk Adult: Any person who is 60 years of age or older, or any person who is 18 years of age or older, and is a person with a disability.

The gentleman in this story was being taken ‘care of’ by a 21 year old felon . . . this is what we as parents of children with disabilities face . . . Or maybe you have a parent that you aren’t able to care for, so you contact your local county agency for “help” and you end up with this. WHY? How does this happen and who should be held accountable for the actions of ALL THE ABOVE?

I’m not done with this topic and I’m sure there are many more stories that go untold just like this . . .

Together WE can stop school shootings...here’s how

I received the following email from a dear friend, Joe Sabah, I think he has a valid point and a great idea so I’m sharing it with you.

Together WE can stop school shootings…here’s how

On Monday, Obama said the United States was the only developed country on Earth where mass shootings occur with regularity, adding that “if public opinion does not change, we’re not going to change.”

Let’s take President Obama at his word.
CHANGE PUBLIC OPINION!

Here is one person’s solution:

Bring ALL of our troops home N-O-W.
Station 2 service people in each school.
Protect our students and our schools.

Two problems solved
1. Protect our students
2. Pay our troops to protect America, our country

Protect OUR students,
instead of patrolling foreign countries.

I would ask you and all radio hosts to start a national dialogue over talk radio asking President Obama, our commander-in-chief, to bring our troops home now. He doesn’t need Congress’ approval or anyone’s approval.

Let’s ask all your listeners to  email or call President Obama.

Also, include TV, newspapers, and other media in this
NATIONAL CALL TO ACTION. (SAVE OUR CHILDREN)

Let’s start a national dialogue emphasizing:

  • Bring ALL of our troops home N-O-W.
  • Station 2 service people in each school.
  • Protect our students and our schools.

I’m open to being interviewed on this subject. As an 83 year old US citizen, I feel very passionate about this subject.
I have 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and I am in tears at every report of another “school shooting”.

My background is a speaker and author who has been interviewed 723 times on talk radio.

I understand the power and influence of talk radio.
I can be reached by phone 9 am – 8 pm MT.
